Vaccination recommendations for Uzbekistan


1-General vaccinations:

These vaccinations are those you should have even if you do not travel, according to your home country vaccination program and they are normally given to you when you are a baby or a child. They are also called “baby jabs”. They normally include:

· Diphteria, tetanus, whooping cough

· Haemophilus B

· Meningitis C

· Polio

· Pneumonia

· Measles, mumps and rubella

· Varicella Zoster (Chicken pox)

· HPV (Human Papilloma virus): only for girls aged 12 and over

2-Strongly recommended vaccinations:


  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Typhoid ( only 70% protection)
  • Polio booster
  • Rabies
