Travel Advisory

This is a Travel Advisory for any Tourist that obtains Travel Assist Plans, for medical coverage, which obligate you to pay medical expenses first and then file an invoice upon your return. We especially mention this to American Tourists that this standard medical coverage offered is insufficient for an emergency medical event. Pay particular attention to your pamphlet or any other data that suggests that you must pay all medical costs first - as Central Asia, Africa and parts of Eastern Europe do not take credit cards for payment.  These Regions are mostly 'cash-based' societies, therefore you must either take out additional international medical insurance coverage or you must prepare for the fact that emergency service may cost thousands of dollars and you must plan accordingly.
